Information Technology has updated the Microsoft Office 365 login experience for students, alumni and employees.  The new login experience will affect all office 365 applications, which include email, OneDrive, and other Office 365 applications. This change was implemented November 21, 2021.


How does this impact you:

After the work is completed, Microsoft Office 365 login portals will display a new log in screen and require your full email address at login.  We have listed the login steps below for your reference.

  1. Enter your full e-mail address, not just your username.
  2. Enter your email password
  3. Select 'yes' or 'no' to stay signed in. Selecting 'yes' will reduce the number of times you are asked to sign in.


Microsoft Office 365 is currently the only portal being updated, other applications and services will display the standard login screen.  Additional applications and services will be migrated to use this login process in the coming months. The new login screen is not due to a phishing scam or a cause for alarm.
