65th Commencement Ceremony

IF YOU ANITICIPATE PARTICIPATING IN THE CEREMONY, PLEASE COMPLETE THE STEPS BELOW:
1. You MUST submit a Petition for Degree Conferral Form (if you have not done so already). Every degree candidate is REQUIRED to file a petition with the Registrar's Office. Once the form is complete and submitted, you will receive an e-mail to your PO student email account indicating the form has been received. This will start the process for a Program Degree Audit based on your records. Fill out the form HERE.
***ATTENTION SUMMER 2025 GRADUATES ONLY:
IF YOU ARE GRADUATING SUMMER 2025 (WALKING SHORT), YOU
WILL ALSO NEED TO SUBMIT A GENERAL PETITION.*** FILL OUT THE FORM: HERE.
2. ELIGIBLE PARTICIPANTS MUST REGISTER for the Commencement Ceremony by the deadline of March 22, 2025.

***Participation in the Commencement Ceremony does not signify formal degree completion. Your diploma will be granted to you once you have satisfied all degree requirements.

3. Purchase your Regalia (Cap/Gown/Tassel). All participants are required to purchase their own regalia. A “Hood" is also required for Master participants only. Deadline to order is March 22, 2025.

4. SASHES/STOLE (Optional): To purchase a sash/stole click HERE.
Please Note: A sash/stole may not be available for all degree programs. You will need to contact the program manager directly for your degree, for more information.
5. ATTEND both Commencement 101 & 102 Sessions for more information.

HOODING CEREMONIES (Master's Graduates ONLY)
Some programs host separate hooding ceremonies for master's degree graduates before the commencement ceremony day. For more information, please contact the program manager for each school directly.
