CARE Learning Center

The CARE Learning Center supports students in bachelor's and master's programs from all modalities in developing their academic skills. It is a place free from judgment where the processes of critical inquiry and incremental improvement are valued above all else.

Students are encouraged to visit the CARE Learning Center for academic skills support, which includes developing one’s writing, expanding one’s critical reading skills, and improving one’s study habits. Services include one-on-one tutoring, workshops, writing support groups, and academic resources. When working with students on their writing, the staff does not offer editing or proofreading services. However, the CARE Learning Center is happy to assist students in honing the skills that will allow them to polish and copyedit independently. Students are welcome whether their assignments are due tomorrow, next week, or at the end of the semester.
